The Last Case of Benedict Fox is a captivating metroidvania with a dark and detailed environment, inspired by the literary works of horror king H. Lovecraft. Self-proclaimed detective Benedict Fox prepares for his biggest and possibly final investigation yet. The city is filled with rumors about the existence of a secret organization practicing forbidden rituals, and a series of cold-blooded murders suggests sacrifices. You have to restore the chronology of events, and for this it would be nice to look into the heads of the suspects. Luckily, you have a demon companion at your disposal who, in exchange for your soul, will accompany you on this exciting adventure where you will have to face a real nightmare and face your fears. Unlike most Lovecraftian games, the project offers players a fairly unique universe with many secrets and mysteries.

Pleasant visual style is somewhat reminiscent of the work of Tim Burton, but these are not the only pluses, because the gameplay that is addictive from the first minutes will become a key feature of the title. The gameplay offers gamers to explore a dark, but at the same time picturesque world with transforming locations, as well as solve entertaining puzzles. Often, to overcome obstacles, you will need the help of a demon, as well as its unique abilities. The monster will help you jump over gorges, attract or, conversely, repel opponents, and much more. Find upgrades in different parts of the city, as well as purchase upgrades to correct certain abilities, because a flexible system allows you to adjust the control to your playstyle. A diverse combat system allows you to use not only special skills and selected weapons, but also the environment. Look around to find a destructible object and use it depending on the situation, damaging enemies or hiding behind a building from enemy fire.
