Action role-playing adventure Miasma Chronicles takes place in the distant future, when the Earth was exposed to an unknown alien fluid, which scientists have nicknamed Miasma. When the first particles of the substance hit the planet, the leadership and the government only reassured the citizens and said that nothing bad would happen. However, no one expected that the universal matter would begin the systematic destruction of all life. The protagonist of Miasma Chronicles is a young guy named Elvis. He was orphaned early, but did not despair, because he was in the company of a cute robot that took care of him, and with a mysterious glove on his hand, which his mother gave him before parting. Whether this is mysticism or a technological breakthrough, the protagonist easily controlled the muck with the device and sent it where he needed it.

This can be a great achievement and salvation for the remnants of human civilization, but now we need to find support among the survivors and prove to them that these are not fairy tales. The boy goes on a long journey through the wastelands to the truth. He carefully examines the surrounding locations in order to find all the available information about the nature of the threat and attempts to stop it. He also has to fight aggressive opponents, while taking advantage of the charms of the environment. The experience gained after the battles and completed quests is spent on pumping the skills of the central character and his mechanical friend.
