Diluvian Winds tells about such a dangerous threat as rising sea levels. Because of this, all game characters, which are animals, are in danger of extinction. The main character is a lighthouse keeper. He refuses to leave his post. And now the Watcher can see the great exodus unfold. The action takes place in real time in 2D and side view. The world is gradually filling with water. Animals must learn to survive in the new world, where from now on there are quite strict rules. In Diluvian Winds, the lighthouse becomes the last place to escape the ever-increasing water masses. You can find new characters who will later live in this location under water, on water and in the air. At the same time, each new arrived animal will necessarily lead to certain changes in the lighthouse. So, this place is becoming more and more stable with water levels rising.

The game universe is distinguished by its unusual appearance. It is a combination of anthropomorphism and windpan. It must not be forgotten that the lighthouse must exist and provide shelter for animals that are in trouble. To do this, the Overseer should make a careful selection of those whom he allowed to remain on it. The number of stories is unlimited as there is a random generation of characters and stories. There may be several options for survival. They are led by the Overseer. They provide an opportunity to fortify his shelter so that the characters who have taken refuge in it can survive the Flood.
