The gameplay of Layers of Fear 2023 is focused on exploration and story progression. Taking control of the artist, the player will need to complete the main work of the ward. The Magnum Opus quest is difficult to complete, as it will require you to travel through the Victorian mansion. The terrain is constantly changing and offers new locations to explore. The protagonist will encounter eerie visions and nightmarish figures. This will help him complete his work and get rid of the terrifying persecution and strange thoughts. As soon as new colors appear on the canvas, the character immediately sees the changing environment and various hallucinations.
Exploring the world helps you collect your thoughts and gradually improve your drawing, but you will need to pay for this with your psyche and your own efforts. In psychedelic horror, the user has 2 tasks. You need to travel through a vast mansion with several floors and dozens of rooms. The terrain changes depending on where the gamers go, what object they interact with, or how they solve the puzzle correctly. The gameplay features many works of original art, as well as music that enhances the atmosphere of what is happening. The further the user goes, the more absurd the visions and paranormal events around the character become.
