Homeworld 3 continues the popular history of 3D RTS, offering control of an entire space fleet. The plot will tell about the era of abundance that began in the galaxy after the events of the previous part. Small conflicts could not mar the generally peaceful coexistence. However, a problem has arisen with the hyperspace gates, causing glitches with terrible consequences. The key to the solution was Karan, who at that time had already acquired the status of a kind of legend, and in some parts of the galaxy an object of worship.

In Homeworld 3, the creators used improved graphics, which brought the original style of the series to a new level. The overall scale of the battles has grown, with huge cruising ships sailing surrounded by small ships. The destruction became more spectacular, becoming visually noticeable in the form of a blast wave. The display of shadows and object detail have been improved. The overall unique atmosphere of the project has remained equally familiar to all fans of the series. Now abandoned giant ships have been added, each of which is capable of becoming an independent battlefield.

The player’s tactical options are still unlimited. You can use the environment, hiding behind the remains of equipment and buildings of ancient civilizations. Arrange flank attacks, covert movements with surprise attacks, send fighters behind enemy lines — it’s up to the player to choose. During the battle, third-party factors inherent in outer space may manifest themselves. A sudden proton storm or a vast asteroid field can become both a hindrance and a salvation, it all depends only on the commander’s imagination.
