Field of Glory Kingdoms is an unusual strategy game that allows you to lead different nations and create formidable kingdoms out of them, making it one of the most exciting games in the genre. Set in 1054, shortly after the Great Schism, the game takes players through more than two centuries of history in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. The project has a staggering range of features: 375 factions, 325 units, 600 buildings, 14 religions and 90 cultural traits, all of which are new to this edition.

Field of Glory Kingdoms introduces a new concept of power, giving gamers the ability to effectively manage royal domains. They must manage the population, control vassals and carry out decrees for the construction of critical structures. Diplomacy plays a critical role in establishing relationships and waging wars with rival factions. As a ruler, the user can determine the future of his kingdom by providing a worthy heir through marriage or other means. However, succession does not guarantee a peaceful transition, especially if neighboring kingdoms have different religious beliefs.

Religious differences can lead to tensions and even full-blown conflicts such as crusades or jihad if holy cities are lost. To maintain order and ensure success, users must navigate a complex social ladder, managing various classes, from humble peasants to powerful nobles. Maintaining social harmony is key to effective governance. Amid complex controls, players must also protect their borders and gather an army of skilled warriors. Knights, sergeants, spearmen, crossbowmen and a variety of other units are ready to be strategically deployed to achieve objectives.
