Wrench

Wrench is an indie racing simulator developed by Missing Digit that puts players in the role of a motorsport mechanic. The game offers a highly detailed experience, allowing players to disassemble, repair, and reassemble extremely complex car assemblies using a variety of authentic tools. The game currently features three chassis variants: a hatchback tram and two licensed cars. The games philosophy emphasizes realism and player autonomy, allowing them to make mistakes and learn through trial and error. With a minimal 2D interface, Wrench encourages interaction with the world and manual tracking of parts, while also providing organizational tools to help players manage their workspace.

The customizable garage space includes adjustable workbenches, flooring, and storage options. Wrench supports both traditional tabletop play with a keyboard and mouse, as well as a VR mode compatible with a variety of headsets. The game recently added co-op multiplayer in tabletop and VR modes, available through the beta version. Notable features include socket selection, peg organization, physics-based containers, combination wrenches, finger threading, socket organizers, and impact tools, all of which provide a complete and authentic mechanic simulation experience.
