B-17 Flying Fortress The Mighty 8th Redux

B-17 Flying Fortress The Mighty 8th Redux is a simulator of managing a team of 10 crew members of a huge B-17 bomber. This is not the easiest task — you need to simultaneously combine many functions and carry out an air attack on the Germans during the Second World War. The player in B-17 Flying Fortress 2 will face difficult forays into enemy territory in occupied Europe for the total destruction of positions using powerful bombs, which the B-17 aircraft possesses. The graphics are seriously outdated by now, but the strategy in the game is still at the level, you can choose the right approach to completing each mission for a common victory with the allied forces.

In addition to missions on a bomber, there will also be missions on small fighters, not only for the American side, but also for the Luftwaffe pilot on the legendary Mighty Eight. Among the presented assortment of powerful flying equipment there are: B-17G, P-38 Lightning, P-51 Mustang, P-47 Thunderbolt from the American side, as well as Bf 109, Fw 190 and ME 262 of the Nazis. Under your control of every aspect of the aircraft’s life from the inside, you will control each crew member two pilots (primary and co-pilot), a navigator, a bomber, six machine gunners, an engineer and a radio operator. When one of the team is injured, it is necessary to react quickly and sacrifice some kind of system for a quality replacement, if necessary. In addition to the story campaign for 25 missions, there is a «quick play» option for single missions. In them you can select the fighter or heavy aircraft you are interested in and choose an interesting scenario for air battles.
