Rain World

Rain World is a conceptually original indie video game created by just 4 people. Brings something new to the platformer genre, focusing on hardcore. You take control of an unusual creature a slugcat. He had not yet grown up, and always lived under the supervision of adults. But an unfortunate incident occurs, and the protagonist ends up in the industrial areas of the city, where his race obtains provisions. Experience a complex journey for yourself as you control a tiny creature and explore a cruel world to find its parents. This project contains many different mechanics. The main goal can be considered survival in unfamiliar territories. All locations are procedurally generated, which is why at each level there will be many unknown dangers waiting for you.

But having understood the gameplay features, the project will reveal itself on the other side, offering real features of a survival game. The graphics feature a pixelated design reminiscent of old-school 16-bit video games. The main enemy in all biomes will be deadly rain, from which you need to hide in special shelters. Also, numerous enemies will pose a threat; you need to have a unique approach to each, otherwise every mistake will cost you your life. But that’s not all, each location must be cleared for resources, otherwise the game will certainly show the death screen, and start from the checkpoint. From time to time, various puzzles will appear along the way, each of which requires logical involvement in order to successfully complete them.
