Dark and Deep

Now onto what makes Dark and Deep special. Imagine stepping into an old engraving. Much of the game uses the work of 19th century artist Gustave Doré as textures. This master was famous for his detailed black and white illustrations of myths and historical subjects. The result is a world that gives you goosebumps — creepy, but incredibly attractive. This is a game where first-person horror is mixed with puzzles and exploration. You play as Samuel Judge, who is obsessed with the conspiracy podcast Dark and Deep. And here’s the bad luck you find yourself in a waking nightmare, right in the middle of the terrible world of these theories.

But don’t rush to panic, you have an ace up your sleeve — magical picture frames. These gizmos not only help you see hidden creatures and find the necessary things, but also drive away the darkness. What should I do? Uncover the conspiracy before the shadows devour you. But the frames are just the beginning of the fun. You will have to rack your brains over ancient mechanisms that seem to have escaped from someone’s crazy dream. Do you want to feel like the master of gravity? No problem! Need to get through the toxic fog? Go ahead and sing! Just don’t forget about the light — it’s worth its weight in gold here. Collect every spark as if it were the last coin in your pocket. And keep your eyes open: hungry shadows are trying to steal your precious light.
