Dark Sky

Dark Sky is a deck-building adventure set on the mining planet Wolf Prime. You play as Squig and Norton, shipyard workers who lead a team of heroes to uncover the truth behind a planetary catastrophe. A mysterious force has wiped out all spaceships from the sky, leaving the planet in chaos. You navigate the apocalyptic landscape, facing ferocious enemies in strategic card battles. In Dark Sky, you create custom decks for each of the six playable characters. These decks can be combined to inflict status effects and defeat enemies. The game emphasizes strategic combat, requiring careful positioning and card synergy.

You can craft and upgrade cards to unlock powerful abilities that enhance your combat effectiveness. There is also a deep card upgrade system, allowing for a variety of tactical approaches. Exploration is key. You travel through hand-drawn environments and interact with various factions such as the Outworld Collective Fleet and the Miners Guild. The game world is rich in history and offers a gripping narrative as you try to uncover the cause of the cataclysm. The title tasks you with gathering resources, forming alliances, and surviving in a hostile world, making it a unique addition to the deck-building genre.
