EARTH DEFENSE FORCE WORLD BROTHERS 2 is visually very different from its predecessors. This sequel used voxel graphics in a cubic style. This is even explained by the plot. The action takes place in a parallel world, where absolutely everything consists of blocks. The square Earth split into parts and was attacked by giant insects. A special squad is trying to fight them off and restore peace. The story is presented with humor. This is a third-person shooter and action game. Earth Defense Force: World Brothers has a single and online co-op. In a single game, the user can form a team of 4 people. But first, they need to be saved.

There are a total of 100 characters with unique skills, such as dodging or flying. Among the fighters, there are heroes from previous parts of the series. You can switch between them. Some weapons, enemies and equipment were also borrowed from earlier games. Up to four gamers can participate in the co-op at the same time. In this case, each user has their own mini-squad. There is also the possibility to play together on one computer via a split screen. The campaign consists of 60 missions.

In them, you need to eliminate aliens, destroy their nests, fight bosses. The environment allows you to destroy. The difficulty of the fights in this product is lower than in previous titles of the franchise. On each mission, there are 3 heroes who need help. After saving them, they join the protagonist. If you restart the stage and find the same shooters in trouble, they will level up.
