Mindcop is a detective game that takes gamers on a journey through a tangled web of mystery and deception. Set in the small, seemingly peaceful town of Merrylin Crater Camp, the story revolves around a murder that has been plaguing the village. Players take on the role of a detective with an unusual ability: he can enter the minds of suspects. Given five days to solve the case, the game becomes a race against time where every decision matters. Time passes as players collect evidence, interrogate suspects, and use their unique mental abilities to get to the bottom of the truth. Mindcop is all about detective work, which unfolds through investigation and interaction.

Gamers explore crime scenes, engage in conversations, and, crucially, utilize a gameplay mechanic called mind surfing. This allows users to dive into the minds of suspects and navigate their subconscious to piece together hidden truths. Mini-games in these mind journeys serve to uncover vital clues and motives that can further direct the investigation. Each suspect presents a different challenge, and no two minds are alike. However, time is of the essence. Every action, whether interrogating a witness or mind surfing, takes up precious minutes. How users manage their time becomes one of the most important tasks.
