Evil Holiday is a chilling indie horror game developed by REVVALUTION that plunges players into a nightmarish family reunion. Set in a rural American home during the Christmas holiday, the game follows George as he returns to his parents' home after years of separation. What begins as a hopeful reconciliation quickly turns into a terrifying ordeal that will haunt players long after the game has been completed. The gameplay unfolds over the course of approximately 40 minutes, alternating between modern-day horrors in the family home and flashbacks that reveal the dark origins of the current nightmare.
Players will experience a gradual build-up of tension, beginning with a festive atmosphere that gradually gives way to unrelenting dread. The game’s first-person perspective, combined with detailed environments and realistic sound design, creates a truly unsettling experience. Evil Vacation features intense psychological horror and graphic violence, including a particularly brutal murder scene. The 1980s-inspired soundtrack adds to the game’s unique atmosphere. While the short playtime may seem short, the developers promise an unforgettable experience that will leave players both excited and thoughtful. Due to its extreme content and the possibility of inducing epileptic seizures, the game has a serious content warning and is recommended for mature audiences only.
