Shadowgate 2 is an atmospheric adventure game in which you play as Raven, a sorceress and descendant of Lakmir the Timeless, on a quest to bring magic back to the land of Cal Torlin. Accompanied by your witty companion Yorick, you will explore the legendary Shadowgate Castle in beautifully rendered 3D environments, using the mystical Chrono-Orb to travel between the past and present. The game features a unique turn-based combat system where success depends on deciphering Storybook clues and mastering six schools of magic to defeat enemies.

Across six distinct levels, you will have to solve challenging puzzles, collect and use various items, and face deadly creatures as you unravel the mysteries of the castle. The game is written by the creators of the original and complemented by an atmospheric soundtrack by Rich Douglas, and also offers full English voice acting with text localization into several languages. The dark fantasy setting combined with the need to carefully study spells and exploit enemy weaknesses creates a fascinating puzzle adventure where death lurks around every corner.
