THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII GLOBAL MATCH is an exciting 2D fighting game with stunning hand-drawn graphics and an extensive roster of 36 playable characters, including fan favorites like NESTS Style Kyo, Classic Iori, and Mr. Karate. The game features an extensive story mode centered around the «Ash Saga», where players uncover hidden stories from the perspective of Ash Crimson and other characters, with multiple paths and outcomes depending on the player’s choices.

The core gameplay revolves around 3v3 team battles, where players can either choose pre-made teams or create their own strategic combinations. The new edition of Global Match features rollback netcode for seamless online play. The game features a variety of online modes, including ranked matches, random matches, friend battles, and spectator-enabled lobbies. Players can hone their skills in a variety of single-player modes: Time Attack for speed runs, Survival for endurance tests, and Trial for mastering character-specific combos. Newcomers can learn the ropes in a tutorial mode led by Rose Bernstein, while Customize lets players create unique color palettes and personalize their online profiles.
