Cascadia

Cascadia is a strategy game set in the Pacific Northwest that masterfully combines habitat creation and wildlife management. The Spiel des Jahres award-winning game challenges players to create harmonious ecosystems by strategically placing habitat tiles and populating them with native wildlife tokens. Each turn offers a choice between four tile and token combinations, with Nature tokens earned from Keystone tiles providing additional flexibility in subsequent turns.

The digital adaptation offers rich single-player content, including 15 solo scenarios, 14 challenges, and daily challenges, as well as multiplayer options such as online matchmaking and local pass-and-play. Scoring is based on creating the largest connected habitat corridors, completing wildlife scoring patterns, and managing Nature tokens efficiently. The game features a family-friendly mode for beginners with simplified scoring, making it accessible while still maintaining depth for strategic players. The game’s «easy to learn, hard to master» philosophy is evident in the simple mechanics but challenging decision-making options.
