HENPRI introduces players to the unforgiving setting of Tulip Prison, an isolated penitentiary that houses people deemed incorrigible. In a dystopian reality where even minor infractions can lead to serious consequences, Shuichiro Minato will navigate a facility designed to house the incorrigible. In HENPRI, survival depends on wits and resilience, so Shuichiro must make choices that will determine his fate in a system that operates outside the confines of conventional justice. The protagonist’s journey begins on the bustling streets of Tokyo, lit up with festive Christmas decorations. One moment he’s enjoying the evening air, the next he finds himself under arrest. His crime? Disturbing the peace, or, as he insists, artistic expression.

He gets no sympathy in the courtroom. His defense falls on deaf ears, and the hammer hammers down his fate — ten years of hard labor in a prison reserved for those society refuses to rehabilitate. Transfer to Tulip Prison marks the beginning of an existence dictated by unseen forces, where every action has consequences. Life inside is a stark contrast to the setting outside. Prisoners range from obscure to downright dangerous, creating a social hierarchy that dictates survival. Guards enforce the rules using methods that blur the line between discipline and brutality.
