Carmen Sandiego is a strategy adventure developed by Gameloft that places players in a unique scenario: notorious thief Carmen Sandiego temporarily joins forces with ACME to stop their common enemy, VILE. The game offers two game modes a story-driven campaign and the classic «The Acme Files» mode. Players travel through beautifully rendered global locations from Rio de Janeiro to Tokyo, using Carmen’s specialized tools, such as grappling hooks and different vision modes, to track down suspects and find clues.

Detective gameplay involves deciphering messages, cracking safes, and collecting evidence to build a profile of VILE operatives. Critical thinking is essential as players must gather enough evidence to obtain an arrest warrant. Every decision impacts the outcome of the mission, creating a dynamic experience that combines detective work with strategic thinking as you race to foil VILE’s next heist.
