Hordes of Hunger

Hordes of Hunger features a scenario where the player takes control of Mira, a heroine tasked with protecting her homeland. An entity known as the Beast has emerged from the sea with its hordes, initiating an invasion comparable to a living famine that devours everything around it. Mira becomes the main obstacle in the way of this unstoppable invasion of monsters in a dark fantasy setting. The project immerses players in 3D battles where the main goal is to survive the onslaught of incessant waves of enemies.

In Hordes of Hunger, character development follows a roguelike structure, where each run is a battle with increasingly difficult waves of enemies in isolated arenas. The player selects starting equipment from available weapons and special attacks, determining their fighting style be it a swordsman or a fighter with a heavy hammer. With each new level during the session, additional offensive and defensive skills are unlocked, allowing you to customize your character and specialize against hundreds of creatures you encounter. Successful survival directly depends on the competent use of acquired abilities to repel constant attacks.

The gameplay is not limited to battles alone, stimulating interaction with the three-dimensional environment, which includes locations such as a castle citadel and village ruins. Narrow passages, hills and destructible elements of locations can be used to gain a tactical advantage over advancing enemies. In addition, completing tasks and rescuing other characters caught in the invasion allows you to obtain resources and develops the storyline, revealing the essence of the curse that fell on the native lands of Mira.
