Tour de France 2025 is a cycling simulation game developed by Cyanide Studio that delivers an authentic professional cycling experience with the enhanced visuals of Unreal Engine 5. The game recreates iconic Tour de France locations such as the Champs-Élysées, Mont Ventoux and Mur de Gouy, with improved landscapes and realistic lighting bringing the Grande Boucle to life. Players will be able to take part in legendary races including the newly added Flèche Wallonne and Circuit Grand Est, each offering unique challenges across a variety of terrain.

The game introduces a strategic refueling system that fundamentally changes the racing experience: riders start with basic fuel and must reach fuel zones to receive Energel or the new Turbogel, which provides temporary immunity during attacks. Criterium mode allows players to create private lobbies, customize race settings and compete against friends using two selected riders in personalized jersey colors. Improved multiplayer includes five online leaderboards and new unlockable rewards to encourage competitive play.

Core gameplay mechanics include peloton navigation, sprint timing, and energy management across different stage types and race lengths. Recent updates have improved AI behavior during sprints, added colorblind accessibility options, and introduced dynamic Moment’s Races content. The game successfully combines accessibility with deep strategic elements, making it appealing to both cycling enthusiasts and newcomers to the sports sim genre.
