TRON Catalyst

TRON Catalyst casts the player as an Exo, a courier program living and working in the capital of the Arc Network. A mysterious package detonates, fundamentally changing the courier's purpose and granting him an unauthorized power called the Glitch. This ability gives him the ability to see and manipulate system time loops that periodically reset the environment. The Guardians of Order immediately begin chasing the hero to take control of this new ability, and the protagonist must confront Conn, a separate sinister program with its own agenda.

The gameplay in TRON Catalyst is built around a combat system that operates in various locations of the network. The gamer will have to fight numerous hostile programs using a combination of ranged and melee attacks, where the main tool is the Identity Disc. Battles take place both on foot in the streets and at high speed while controlling the Light Cycle. Survival requires mastering techniques such as parrying and special attacks with the Disc.

Progression is based on exploration, as Data Fragments unlock upgrades to the Exo codebase and new abilities. The world of the Arc Network is becoming unstable, causing glitches that rewind time in repeating cycles. Only Exos can notice these time reversals, giving them a unique perspective. The Glitch Power is a key mechanic in the game, used to find secret areas and shortcuts that are inaccessible to other inhabitants of the network.
