Net.Attack()

Net.Attack () is a top-down roguelike where the character constructs his own abilities using the basics of programming. The core mechanic involves creating unique functions that directly become abilities used during the session. Success in completing the game depends on the logic and efficiency of the code written. This approach gives direct responsibility for the formation of a tactical arsenal, going beyond the usual systems of progression. The action takes place in a digital space, where created programs serve as the main means of interaction.

Each session in Net.Attack () is structured around surviving against an ever-growing number of opponents. As the run progresses, opportunities arise to modify, improve, or write new code to counter the increasing threats. The roguelike design means that each run offers new scenarios and enemy placements, which requires a flexible approach to problem solving. This system directly weaves the process of coding into the gameplay, making the creation of algorithms a key part of the experience.

The player’s agency is at the center of attention, as skills are not selected from a pre-set list, but are constructed using a code-based interface. This gives complete control over how the hero functions and responds to the environment. Thematically, the game places the character in the role of a hacker, where each function is a piece of software used against system defenses. Consequently, any outcome becomes a direct result of personal algorithmic design.
