Kaizen A Factory Story introduces David Sugimoto, a native of South Bend, Indiana, who moves to Japan in 1986 to pursue a career at Matsuzawa Manufacturing. He arrives expecting to be the head of international sales, a prospect available during the country’s economic boom. Those hopes are dashed when he is sent not to the corporate office, but to one of the company’s old factories on the outskirts of Tokyo.

Without further ado, he is given the role of assembly line designer, a job that requires a special kind of logic. The project’s structure places him in the position of a novice who must adapt to the unique demands of automating factory processes. The core gameplay of Kaizen A Factory Story is a simulation of industrial processes on a hexagonal grid. Players construct automated systems by programming individual machines to weld, rivet, cut, and drill components in precise sequences.

The goal is to build a functional and streamlined assembly line for iconic 1980s products, including calculators, video cameras, and arcade machines. The title offers tools to document and share successful solutions with others by exporting animated GIFs of the lines in action. To take a break from the main design tasks, the game includes an additional mode. It’s a pachinko-themed solitaire game called Pachi-Sol, which offers its own logic puzzles. It serves as an in-game activity, providing a different kind of challenge while remaining in the world of the simulator.

Пошаговый процесс установки

Установка не требуется — релиз полностью готов к игре прямо из коробки: никаких мастеров установки и долгих обновлений.
Распакуйте архив (RAR/ZIP) в короткий путь без кириллицы, например C:\Games\GameName, с помощью WinRAR или 7-Zip — и не запускайте игру прямо из архива: это главная причина проблем с запуском.
Запустите игру через Run Me!.bat (или основной .exe-файл) в папке с игрой. Если ничего не происходит, кликните правой кнопкой мыши и выберите Запуск от имени администратора.

Проблемы с запуском игры?

Перед поиском ошибки проверьте основные причины.

Установите необходимые runtime-компоненты, если игра сообщает об отсутствующей DLL или не запускается: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86 и x64) и DirectX Runtime. Если в раздаче есть папка Redist или _CommonRedist, сначала проверьте её.
Проверьте карантин Windows Security, если после распаковки не хватает файлов. Восстанавливайте только файлы, которым доверяете, и при необходимости добавьте папку игры в исключения.
Используйте короткий путь только с латинскими символами, например C:\Games\GameName. Избегайте кириллицы, слишком длинных путей и специальных символов.
Запускайте игру через основной exe-файл после распаковки. Если ничего не происходит, попробуйте Запуск от имени администратора и проверьте полное FAQ по тексту ошибки.
