Grand Emprise 2 Portals Apart

Grand Emprise 2 Portals Apart is a survival and crafting experience built around passing through magical portals. A sequel to Grand Emprise: Time Travel, this project develops the concept of a directed adventure. The journey takes the player through a series of fantasy worlds, where each portal opens up access to new resources. Development follows a linear technology branch, forming a structured single-player campaign instead of an open-world sandbox where the gamer himself determines his own goals.

In the worlds of Grand Emprise 2 Portals Apart, gamers obtain materials to create tools and weapons. Gameplay involves building special crafting stations and setting up energy production to support automation and base development. Such preparation is key to confronting difficult bosses guarding important points of progression. A difficulty setting is available, allowing you to adjust the challenge in PvE battles, which form the basis of the combat mechanics.

The title consists of deliberately short segments — this feature is designed to introduce variety and maintain a dynamic pace. Throughout the journey, modes of travel are unlocked and improved, allowing for faster movement across the universes' landscapes. The entire game is designed as a single, orchestrated adventure with a clear beginning and end. The project places an emphasis on exploration and resource management within its combat system, guiding the character’s path from one world to the next.
