LUCID

LUCID is an action-adventure RPG platformer set in the crystal-punk world of Aedin, where you play as Oenn, a young Guardian tasked with reviving the fallen giant Lucid Aylo after the cataclysmic "Great Fall" destroyed the world's harmony. The game combines tight platforming controls with intense combat, where you use powerful Crystal Arts such as the Crystal Blade, Crystal Spear, and Crystal Axe, each of which uniquely modifies your movement and combat capabilities. You'll face challenging boss battles and acrobatic obstacles as you explore interconnected biomes including the frigid Onyx Ridge, glittering Crystal Caves, and grim Welltown.

A customization system lets you focus on two favorite Crystal Arts or quickly cycle through all abilities, and craft and equip dozens of Talismans that alter Oenn's combat and movement capabilities, granting specific bonuses for strategic builds. You will upgrade your bracelets and Crystal Arts using Crystal Shards and rare materials found during your journey. The world features a diverse cast of characters, from the close-knit Guardians of the Petrified Forest to the struggling citizens of Beacon City, each with their own story to restore balance to a fractured world.

LUCID combines meticulously crafted pixel art with modern atmospheric elements to create a nostalgic yet modern gaming experience. The interconnected world design allows for new paths and secrets to be discovered in previously explored areas, encouraging careful exploration of this dissonance-ravaged realm.
