ETERNAL EXILE BENEATH THE DARKNESS is a dark fantasy action shooter developed by AMNESIA that drops you into a nightmarish world where the undead never rest. You'll battle through a variety of locations filled with ancient ruins and forgotten secrets, using both magical abilities and brutal weapons to survive against hordes of decaying enemies. The game features a Soul Shard progression system where defeating undead creatures earns you materials to become stronger and upgrade your arsenal. Combat revolves around facing off against various types of cursed creatures, from twisted abominations to powerful corrupted generals rotted by darkness.

Beyond the actual combat, you'll explore treacherous environments filled with secrets, treasure chests, and deadly traps that require careful navigation. The world itself becomes a weapon as you learn to use elements of the environment against your enemies. The narrative centers on impossible moral choices that determine whether the world will burn to ashes or be plunged into eternal darkness.
