Volkolak The Will of Gods

Volkolak The Will of Gods is a side-scrolling action adventure set in a vast, interconnected world inspired by Slavic fantasy. The protagonist travels through the Far Far Away Kingdom, a medieval land plagued by the sinister curse of the necromancer Koschei the Deathless. This curse drives its inhabitants mad, turning them into vicious creatures. The gameplay is built around confronting these minions with a deep combat system and exploring a hand drawn 2D world with many secrets and multiple endings.

The gameplay of Volkolak The Will of Gods is built around the mechanics of turning into a werewolf - a transformation that forms the basis for three different development paths. The player can choose the path of a bloodthirsty ghoul, harness his instincts with magic as a Werewolf, or choose the path of a holy warrior-Bogatyr. Each class opens up access to unique NPCs and story-driven adventures. The choices made ultimately direct the narrative to one of several endings, determining the protagonist's fate as a hero, a monster, or a creature of darkness.

This game offers a large world to explore, with locations like the dungeons of Tsargrad and the Dark Forest. These lands are inhabited by over 50 unique enemies and 15 mythical bosses inspired by Slavic folklore, including Leshy and Baba Yaga. Mastering new abilities opens access to secret places. The human form allows you to equip a variety of weapons and armor, while the werewolf form allows you to receive powers from the altars of pagan gods and communicate with certain mythical creatures to gain valuable information.
