Anno 117 Pax Romana invites you to a strategy simulation set at a pivotal moment in Roman history. The latest installment in the Anno series from Ubisoft takes players to the year 117 AD across the vast empire. Players assume the role of a Roman ruler facing complex challenges and opportunities across multiple territories. Governance becomes a multifaceted experience where decisions permeate interconnected systems. Players navigate economic structures, territorial expansion, and cultural integration, with every action having potential consequences. Managing a province requires balancing resources, trade routes, and population needs, while also responding to emerging scenarios that test leadership skills.
Regions such as Latium and Albion offer unique landscapes for players to explore and develop. Administrators must interact with diverse populations, manage infrastructure, and respond to dynamic events that arise during the game. Progress through the territory is determined by strategic choices that affect the well-being of citizens, economic growth, and political stability. The game mechanics encourage players to experiment with different approaches to governance. Rebellion, diplomacy, economic growth, and territorial conquest are all potential paths through which players can shape their version of the Roman Empire. Each decision affects population dynamics, resource distribution, and regional development throughout the simulator.
