DeadWire puts players in control of Wire, a seasoned hacker seeking revenge against the criminal syndicates of a dystopian metropolis. The game's primary objective is a campaign of vengeance in a high tech, neon drenched city rife with crime. Well-armed enemy forces patrol the streets, provoking constant violent clashes. The story explores themes of deception and betrayal on the dark web, setting the events in a noir-inspired atmosphere of urban decay and technological excess.

About This Game

DeadWire top-down combat combines dynamic gunplay with a unique environmental interaction system. A key mechanic allows the protagonist to hack enemies and connect them to nearby objects, such as vehicles or explosive barrels. Activating these connections triggers devastating chain reactions, weaponizing the environment. This tactical element is complemented by direct gunplay, explosives, and melee attacks. A separate game mode expands on these abilities by introducing special power-ups into the gameplay.
