Dark Fairy Tale

Dark Fairy Tale is an indie strategy RPG that combines Monopoly-style board gameplay with dark fantasy combat mechanics. You play as a summoned hero wielding an ancestral crystal weapon, tasked with stopping an evil god corrupting both the Mirror Realm a twisted version of classic fairy tales and the real world. The game revolves around moving dice across a board filled with various tiles featuring monsters, treasures, and random events that can dramatically alter your fate.

Combat revolves around collecting unique runes that add special effects to your attacks, allowing you to chain together devastating combos. You'll wield a variety of mechanized weapons, each with specific stats that can be upgraded and refined to suit your playstyle. Strategic depth is achieved by balancing three core systems: runes for skill synergies, weapons for combat style, and talents for character enhancement.

Every Roll The dice bring unpredictable challenges and opportunities you might discover valuable treasures or face difficult choices that test your tolerance for risk. The Twisted Fairytale setting features darkened versions of familiar characters, creating an atmosphere where children's stories have taken a sinister turn. The combination of board game mechanics and role-playing progression offers varied gameplay, where strategic combinations of weapons and talents determine your success against increasingly powerful enemies.
