It Has My Face

It Has My Face takes place in a crowded area, where a doppelganger, indistinguishable from the others, stalks the protagonist. The player's primary objective is to identify this hostile clone in the crowd and eliminate it before it can carry out a fatal attack. This key mechanic generates procedurally generated paranoia, forcing the player to remain constantly vigilant and notice subtle behavioral details.

Survival depends on the timely detection of a single hidden threat, otherwise the character will fall victim to a surprise attack, and the cycle begins anew. Gameplay in It Has My Face revolves around a cycle of stealth, preparation, and direct confrontation. The player must scour locations for weapons and manage a strictly limited supply of ammunition. Successfully eliminating a target requires careful planning, as a failed attempt immediately results in the loss of a tactical advantage.

The hunter becomes the hunted, forced to abandon shadow stalking tactics for open and dangerous combat with a wary doppelganger. The progression system draws on roguelite elements, and with each run, the title reveals new details about the hero's curse, introducing biological monsters. As the game progresses, terrifying enemies begin to appear, complicating the hunt. Permanent upgrades unlocked between runs provide greater flexibility in overcoming increasingly difficult challenges. These enhancements are essential to cope with the growing danger posed by both the clone and the evolving environment.
