This is a game of satisfying incremental progression, where every successful dig site contributes meaningfully to your exploration capabilities.
The core gameplay centers on systematic grid based excavation and complex tool management. The unique mechanic is the Geological Stability Index. Digging too quickly or in sensitive areas can trigger cave ins, forcing you to strategically reinforce tunnels using gathered materials, introducing a surprising layer of spatial Puzzle solving to the seemingly simple act of digging.
