Scholar Adventure Mystery of Silence is a classic point-and-click adventure game in which William, an aspiring writer, seeks inspiration in a remote abbey bound by a vow of silence. William's creative journey quickly unfolds into a mystery, as he uncovers secrets hidden within the abbey's stone walls and among its silent monks. The game features dark, detailed pixel art reminiscent of 90s adventure games, combined with environmental puzzles and a narrative laced with dark humor.
Players explore the abbey, collecting and using items to solve mysteries, and piece together the truth about the monastery's hidden past. Developed solely by creator Ayoze Trujillo with music by Antonio Vozmediano using the PowerQuest engine, the game is the first installment in the Scholar Adventure saga. The game is designed to last approximately 2-3 hours, focusing on exploration, discovery, and solving logical puzzles. This indie adventure pays homage to classic examples of the genre, creating an atmospheric mystery shrouded in silence and shadows.
