DREADMOOR

DREADMOOR is a first-person adventure game from Dream Dock that combines fishing simulation with survival horror elements in a flooded post-apocalyptic world. You pilot a fishing trawler, sailing past flooded islands and the ruins of a lost civilization, traversing dangerous waters filled with radiation and mutated threats. The core gameplay revolves around catching over 100 species of fish and dangerous aquatic creatures, carefully managing your ship's hold as your catches can devour each other, and selling your catch to mysterious merchants who pay high prices for deeper and rarer specimens.

In addition to fishing, you'll scour abandoned buildings, caves, and shipwrecks for scrap metal, blueprints, and resources to craft bait, harpoons, and medicine. Battles with mutated monsters take place both on water and on land, turning routine expeditions into deadly clashes. The game features ship upgrades, equipment crafting, and inventory management, as well as interactions with untrustworthy survivors who may have ulterior motives beyond simple trade. The game takes place in the grim Flooded Land, with a deliberately dark and oppressive atmosphere, highlighting the constant dangers of radiation exposure and hostile creatures. Success requires balancing fishing skills, resource gathering, crafting, and combat readiness throughout the perilous journey.
