Earth Must Die is a story of inflated ego and the thirst for total revenge, presented in the format of a satirical adventure. The narrative centers on Vvalak Lizardtongue, ruler of the Tyrithian Empire. After his domain fell to the onslaught of Terran invaders, the despotic monarch resolves to take revenge on all of humanity. His sole goal is the complete destruction of planet Earth. On this mission, the protagonist is accompanied by the flying robot Milky, who supplies his master with milk.
The project is a classic point-and-click adventure, inspired by games from the 90s, but with absurdist humor and abundant dialogue. The gameplay core harks back to the genre's canons, but with a significant difference. Earth Must Die completely lacks an inventory system, as the protagonist considers collecting items beneath his status.
