Rise of Piracy

Rise of Piracy is a fast-paced indie strategy game where you start with a tiny vessel and build a pirate empire from the ground up. Every island, building, and faction interaction is handcrafted rather than procedurally generated, guaranteeing unique challenges throughout the campaign. You can hunt for treasure, wage naval battles, trade over 200 types of goods, or forge diplomatic alliances piracy is just one path to power. Assemble a fleet of ships from the 1600s to 1900s, hire specialized crews, and capture islands using bombardment or boarding.

The game features a deep diplomacy system: NPC factions constantly fight for control of territories, shifting the balance of power and trade routes. Your playstyle has consequences: over-aggression will result in pirate hunters pursuing you with redoubled vigor, adapting the difficulty to your strength. Whether you become a cunning merchant, a ruthless naval commander, or a master diplomat, the game will adapt to your way of conquering the seas.
