Darwins Paradox

Darwins Paradox is a puzzle platformer starring an ordinary blue octopus named Darwin. He and his friend are pulled out of the ocean by some kind of beam and thrown to the surface, right into a massive alien factory. These guys are clearly planning something nasty, and they want to can Darwin. Now he needs to escape, find his friend, and figure out what's going on. He does all this using his octopus abilities: he attaches himself to walls and ceilings, changes color to hide, spits ink, and disables cameras.

The game is primarily about stealth and careful movement. You have to crawl along ceilings above alien patrols, hide in the shadows, avoid vision cones, and solve simple puzzles with levers and buttons. There are occasional chases or more dynamic moments, but overall, everything is quite calm and cartoonish. The levels vary from sewers and factories to underwater environments. Darwin moves humorously, his animations are lively, and there are plenty of little jokes and references throughout. The game takes about five hours to complete.
