Bobo Bay

Hello! Thanks everyone for enjoying the game :) This is the biggest update so far. There is a lot of fun stuff, and I think some solutions to issues certain players had with the game. Let me know what you think!

After a few hotfixes for this, I'm going to take a longer break from Bobo Bay to focus on a new project and go on vacation. I'll be back eventually for the Phantom Garden update though!

Patch Notes v1.3.0

Features

- New Fairy Garden that can be unlocked through new Fairy themed Saga that is unlocked by beating the Mythic Star. Beating this saga also unlocks a new outfit for parfait.

- Added new locations you can go to on excursions unlockable through Public Works. Now you get a pop up asking you where you want to go. You can only go to one a day! Remote Islands, Deep Forest, Tree Farm, or Caves!

- Added a new excursion parkour island themed after Fairies that unlocks after beating Mythic Star. At the top are a bunch of brand new god/goddess themed accessories!

- Added some new main, humble, and item traits.

- Added a donut pop up shop on Thursday nights(plus a new donut type).

Changes

- There is now a number on the button for each bobopedia list showing you how many you have found.

- Brawls now have a time limit. After 3 minutes, whatever bobo lost more health loses.

- Lowered speed needed for wheeling into totonut tree to knock them down.

- New Blessed bobos no longer have the “no item trait” debuff. Existing Blessed bobos will still have this though..

- Lowered price of Secret Garden.

- lowered color saturation/glow of bobos slightly.

- Treasure chest open time decreased by .5 seconds.

- The dialogue icon above NPC heads will now be semi transparent if it’s random dialogue. So it only be the solid icon for main and triggered conversations.

- Changed betting lounge trainers to update every 3 real months instead of every month.

- Made Secret Garden easier to get into.

- Giving a bobo that already ate an eternal fruit will now turn them back to normal.

- Debt Collector now deals like 999999 damage after the opponent bobo busts. So it’s an instant kill.

- Gun does more damage in brawl.

- Increased chance for rarer islands and items on default Remote Islands excursion.

- Sped up loading screens by a small amount.

- Backup treasure ontop of spire if gardens are full take from uncommon ocean loot now.

- Added Bayfarer Steering Sensitivity setting.

- Tweaked camera sensitivity starting setting so it might have changed for you.

Bug Fixes

- Camera at end of swim to climb race on lake pip fixed.

- Competition Bookmark app now says Day or Night too.

- Removed dynamic bone from full parfait body. was causing some stuttering.

- kite string transparency fixed.

- fixed parfait skin clipping through skin boots.

- Sleeping bobos shouldn’t move around anymore.

- no more bobo freezing when swapping item traits on Casual mode.

- Trying some more fixes for bobos getting stuck in hands on random people’s saves. Mostly in Competition Center.

- reinforced wall behind PWP screen so bobos don’t clip into it. not sure why it’s happening tbh.

- Storage shed lighting now stays the same no matter the time or season.

- Giving a bobo the letters that spawn in the competition center no longer makes them freeze.

- Fixed issue where players weren’t getting clothing unlocks from letters.

- Fixed issue where relay camera would mess up hype input.

- Fixed issue where people weren’t getting the Star Garden letter.

- Possible fix for weak throws.

- Resolution related issues fixed with some ui.

- Null references fixed: ui stamina and bobo name, gumballs, and ui public works project.
