Wardrum

Wardrum is a turn-based rhythm game in the roguelite style that blends tactical combat with musical rhythm, challenging you to strategize to the rhythm of a pulsating tribal beat. You command a squad of five warriors who must venture into a blighted fantasy land to destroy a rogue magical threat decimating neighboring settlements. Battles unfold on a tactical grid, where each warrior's skill has unique rhythmic patterns—time your moves to land critical hits or suffer the consequences of poor synchronization, especially when debuffs like bleeding or stun disrupt your rhythm.

Six unique biomes with their own hazards and over 35 enemy types, with each playthrough mixing map routes, encounters, and environmental challenges like rhythm storms and eclipses. Boss battles against fallen gods and ancient dragons require both tactical precision and rhythmic accuracy. Adjustable rhythm difficulty compensates for the rhythm sync on easier settings, making the game accessible while maintaining strategic depth for those seeking a hardcore challenge where perfect timing is the difference between victory and total annihilation.
