FZ Formation Z reignites the classic arcade shooter genre with a fresh tactical twist, putting you in command of a squadron of fighter jets that fight as one. Developed by Granzella Inc. and published by CITY CONNECTION and Clear River Games for release in 2026, this shooter action game challenges you to master formation flying. You control a lead aircraft, while up to three wingmen mirror your movements. The key to victory is positioning your squad to overlap firing arcs, creating screens of bullets that can melt enemy squadrons and boss weak points. The latest version of the game introduces a formation break mechanic that lets you scatter your wingmen for evasive maneuvers or to surround a target.
Action is relentless, with enemies attacking from all angles and levels that scroll in multiple directions. Shooter mechanics reward precise aiming and quick reflexes. You can unlock new aircraft with different formation abilities, such as a defensive circle that reflects projectiles or an attack wedge that concentrates firepower. The game features both a story campaign with voiced briefings and an endless arcade mode for high score chases. For fans of Raiden and Sky Force, you can download the game on PC and consoles.
