Yerba Buena

Yerba Buena is an indie action-adventure game in which you play as Barb, a non player character who becomes the unlikely heroine of her own story in a desolate game world styled after 1970s San Francisco. The city faces a sinister threat, and Barb must use a mysterious device called the Oscillator to save it from greed and destruction. The games signature feature is its innovative Copy Paste mechanic, which allows you to manipulate objects by transferring their physical properties imagine making a table bounce like a trampoline or sending entire buildings flying through city blocks.

Your journey involves solving creative puzzles, hunting a dangerous biker gang with superpowers, and uncovering the mystery behind the glitch threatening San Francisco. Barb is joined by friends Russell, Wanda, Jorge, and other unlikely allies as she evolves from supporting character to protagonist. This surreal puzzle platformer blends historical settings with game world concepts, creating a unique twist on both genres. The Oscillators reality-altering abilities open up inventive gameplay possibilities, from transforming solid walls into empty space to fundamentally altering the behavior of objects. This is a game about finding your place and taking control of your own story in a world that never imagined you could matter.
