Cursed Blood is a brutal roguelike game with a bloodpunk aesthetic, centered on the use of blood as the primary resource for activating supernatural abilities. The environment showcases a grim mix of factory machinery and forbidden biotechnology, shaping life-threatening landscapes. Exploring the environments requires caution, as the layout of rooms and the routes through which valuable items appear are transformed with each attempt. Encounters with bosses are highly unpredictable due to their ability to change form and tactics mid-duel. Eliminating such opponents allows you to obtain relics for offerings at the Vermillion Sanctuary, unlocking power-ups. Gradual character development allows you to select unique equipment and upgrade your blades. The visuals emphasize the harshness of the setting, creating an oppressive sense of constant threat.
Group play supports up to 4 players, allowing players to seamlessly join other players' sessions. In Cursed Blood, success in battle is determined by reaction speed and the ability to combine slashing attacks with defensive maneuvers. Fluid extracted from enemies is used to perform powerful attacks and instantly mutate the body. The arsenal offers a wide variety of means of destruction, from electric shurikens to stolen enemy firearms. To survive the changing conditions of the arenas.
