The Awakener Battle Tendency, an ambitious take on the hack and slash genre with a focus on looting, places the protagonists at the epicenter of a conflict between reality and distorted dimensions. The narrative centers on the clash between powerful warriors called the Awakened and a demonic overlord, the King of Erosion, who seeks to devour reality. Exploring these shifting realms requires not only brute force but also a tactical understanding of the laws of fate. Instead of the usual support model, the project offers a complete story designed to last between 20 and 50 hours.
Combat forces constant movement, replacing monotonous skill use with delicate manipulation of distance and timing. The density of enemy units is reminiscent of classic musou games, where survival depends on well-timed dodges and clever positioning. In The Awakener: Battle Tendency, character development is inextricably linked to the search for equipment with unique properties. Fine-tuning warriors from different eras through variable mechanics is complemented.
The environment is constantly transforming, offering a variety of scenarios – from large-scale battles to protecting important objects in illusory labyrinths. Dynamic modifier mechanics introduce an element of surprise into the familiar rhythm of battles, strengthening opponents directly during combat. After completing the main campaign, access to harder difficulty modes unlocks, where testing the endurance of your build becomes the primary challenge. The absence of artificial restrictions and paid passes allows you to fully focus on honing your skills in this challenging yet rewarding adventure.
