I am not sure what I expected when I first launched WantamaLife. The title alone had me scratching my head. But after spending a good few evenings with it, I can say this. It is one of those games that sneaks up on you. WantamaLife is a visual novel and life simulation hybrid. You manage a character's daily life, make choices that affect their relationships and stats, and watch a story unfold. The anime art style is charming. The character designs are expressive. But the real hook is the text-based storytelling. It gives the game a unique rhythm.
