Hell Maiden

Hell Maiden is an adventure hybrid of card roguelike and horde survival, where the amnesiac heroine Dante attempts to re-enter the realm of paradise through nine circles of hell. On this arduous journey, the protagonist is accompanied by her constant companions, Virgil and Beatrice. Gothic visuals, combining 2000s aesthetics with 2D animation, emphasize the tense atmosphere of the afterlife, accompanied by a rhythmic soundtrack. Confronting legions of bloodthirsty monsters requires careful deck planning. Effective clearing of dangerous locations is achieved through:

• rescuing great ancient poets – Homer and Ovid share unique blessings
• combining weapon cards and modifiers – adding thermal damage significantly increases the damage radius
• assigning signature moves of defeated bosses – destroyed circle guardians bestow their abilities to the victor
• Beatrice's defensive effects combine—her divine protection reduces incoming damage at critical moments
• constantly improving her basic attack stats—merging identical cards unlocks devastating moves

Hell Maiden brutal battles harmoniously combine the tactical depth of card strategies with the fast-paced action-survival genre's finest. The gameplay constantly encourages experimentation with combat styles, forcing players to reassess their deck before each new descent into the abyss.
