EverRail

EverRai is an action-adventure survival simulator developed by Aesir Interactive, in which your train serves as the only refuge in a frozen, hostile world. The game has a progression system in roguelike style, where death does not mean the end the control passes to the second passenger, which allows you to continue the journey as long as there are survivors on board. The action unfolds on the procedurally generated exomoon of Inar. You will embark on a journey alone or in co-op mode with up to 4 players to rescue stranded survivors from abandoned structures and mine resources while encountering deadly anomalies and combat encounters.

The main mechanics of the game revolve around managing the charge of the train's battery: it is charged while moving and discharged when it is stopped, which forces you to constantly make decisions, weighing risk and benefit, between exploration and survival. You'll craft weapons, armor, tools, and gliders while expanding your train with hundreds of customizable wagons to increase storage, production, and logistics capacity. Gliders and reconnaissance drones provide aerial reconnaissance, allowing you to survey the area and mine rare isotopes before embarking on ground expeditions.

Each pass provides a unique experience thanks to procedural generation, which rearranges the location of objects, threats and survivors. During the early access period, the game actively involves the community in making development decisions, and players influence everything from the story universe to the name of the exomoon. EverRail combines base building, resource management and exploration in a tense cycle of survival where stopping means death.
