DIVE or DIE Children of Rain

DIVE or DIE Children of Rain is an indie action-adventure game developed by Drop Rate Studio that blends survival mechanics with bleak underwater exploration. You play as Jack, a tormented protagonist, leading a group of survivors through the Bottomless Pool a dangerous underwater labyrinth filled with flooded ruins, twisted idols, and grotesque mutated creatures. The core gameplay loop involves managing your oxygen supply while navigating the pitch black environment, evading or confronting supernatural horrors lurking in the shadows.

The survival system is unforgiving: permadeath awaits survivors, forcing you to make difficult decisions about who joins expeditions and who stays behind, all while managing your health and mental state. Between dives, you'll develop your base camp, assigning roles to your survivors, upgrading their skills, crafting equipment, and upgrading structures to conduct deeper and more successful expeditions.

The story revolves around a race against time against an apocalyptic deadline you must collect scattered sacred relics before the Rainmaker floods the world with his black tears. Resource management and strategic planning are crucial as you balance time, materials, and your survivors' abilities. The game immerses you in a grim atmosphere where knowledge and skill determine whether humanity will find salvation or join the dead in the flooded abyss. Every decision matters in this desperate struggle for survival against inevitable doom.
