Mistfall Hunter

Mistfall Hunter is a dark, extraction action adventure set in the ruins of a world devastated by a clash of higher beings. After the ancient deities perished, their blood transformed into a caustic mist Gildenmist that corrupts mind and flesh. Survivors find salvation thanks to the mysterious Dew, which grants fallen warriors immortality. These reborn Hunters infiltrate the contaminated lands to harvest a valuable resource needed to restore the Web of Fate. The formidable landscapes are inspired by Nordic aesthetics, and the Bitter Needles region forces players to navigate vertical risks amidst jagged cliffs.

Gameplay focuses on the high cost of error and the balance between slaying monsters and confronting other groups of survivors. Squads of up to three or solo players rely on fast-paced combat mechanics with an emphasis on precision strikes to vulnerable areas. The Mistfall Hunter's flexibility is evident in the ability to instantly swap between two weapon types in the heat of battle to adapt to the enemy. The chosen specialization determines the available talents and the character's effectiveness when using:

• Mage's devastating spells for ranged control.
• Mercenary's heavy blades for close combat.
• Rangers' precise bowshots.
• Stealthy shadow attacks for sudden target elimination.
• Soothsayers' mystical skills, which enhance allies.

To successfully complete a raid, you must find a rare creature a Returning Woodworm. A Soul of Return obtained from it opens a portal to a haven where you can upgrade your gear. Any defeat in the fog results in the complete loss of gear, forcing careful planning of each raid. The camp offers a skill tree to customize your combat build. Accumulated resources provide progress and preparation for more dangerous missions.
