Tales and Tactics Set 2 World Tour

The grand tournament just got a bigger map. Tales and Tactics Set 2 World Tour is the new content set for the strategy RPG from Table 9 Studio, published by Yogscast Games together with Gamersky Games, and it opens the autobattler's championship to fresh faces from every corner of the land. The road between arenas has never looked this busy.

The core of the set is the new unit pool. Recruits arrive from the Hexad Merc Corp, the Ashfall Wastes, the Frozen Peaks and beyond, each with traits that change how a squad behaves. Old combinations still work, but the smart play is rebuilding the team around what the tour brings, because every new recruit shifts the math of the battlefield.

Everything the set offers works in every mode of the base game: the classic campaign, player battles, and the brand new Knockout Mode. The last one deserves its own paragraph. It strips the game down to its fastest essence: a shop phase, a battle phase, and nothing else between them. No story stops, no events, just decisions and fights in a tight loop.

In Knockout Mode you play as the Daiya, the elite group of champions that stand at the end of the classic campaign. Each comes with game changing modifiers and Vaults, and the format turns the experience into a quick fire bracket where one weak round sends you home. For players who wanted the tournament without the travel time, this is the answer.

The package keeps the base game's strengths intact: squad building with depth, autobattles that reward planning, and a colorful world that stays friendly even when the fights turn sharp. Set 2 does not reinvent the formula. It widens it, and gives both veterans and returning players a reason to assemble one more team. The soundtrack rides along in the package, which is a small but honest bonus.
